The artist Antonio Lopez tries to paint a quince tree in his garden in various shades of light. This is a long, painstaking and meditative documentary on first and foremost, the technique of painting and how he tries to capture the light falling on the leaves and fruit, as they gradually ripen and the tree goes through the seasons. Yes, this is primarily what the film-documentary is about and viewers expecting more action will be disappointed. However it is meditative and intriguing to see the artist's loving relationship with the evolving tree.
